Kanji Master does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics.
All study content — the kanji list, stroke order data, meanings, example words and teacher explanations — is bundled inside the app. Nothing you look up is sent anywhere.
The app saves a small amount of information locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
To know which content to unlock, the app checks your subscription status through RevenueCat, Inc., which acts as our service provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and the receipt Apple issues for the purchase. It does not receive your name, email address, or payment information.
Teacher explanations can be read aloud. Depending on the build, this uses either the speech engine already built into your device, or Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
When Google Cloud Text-to-Speech is used, the sentence being read — a fixed explanation that ships with the app — is sent to Google in order to generate the audio. No information about you is included. Audio is cached on your device so the same sentence is not sent twice.

Kanji Master is a study tool suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information at all, we collect none from children either.
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored. If you have a question about this, please contact us.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
